I specialise in building workforce capability to help organisations confidently adopt emerging technologies. Over the past 20 years, I have designed and led programs that lift digital capability at scale, training thousands of staff, embedding new tools into core business processes, driving efficiency gains, and strengthening organisational resilience.

Board Experience
Non-Executive Director, Australian Institute of Training and Development
Elected Vice President of the Australian Institute of Training and Development (in Nov 2023), providing governance leadership, strategic oversight and sector advocacy through a period of renewal and growth. Co-led the board’s turnaround agenda, culminating in AITD being recognised as “Association Turnaround of the Year” (2025).
Governance leadership: Chair, Governance & Risk. Refreshed board and committee charters, clarified delegations, strengthened risk appetite and enterprise risk register, and embedded an annual board calendar with policy reviews and compliance checkpoints.
Strategy & performance: Co-led development of the multi-year strategy and KPIs; oversaw execution through quarterly performance reports, financial stewardship, and benefits realisation across membership, events and learning products.
Executive partnership: Partnered with the CEO to align operating plans and budgets to strategy; ensured effective reporting, prudent capital allocation and fit-for-purpose controls.
Risk & assurance: Elevated risk culture and crisis readiness; aligned privacy, data and safeguarding policies; improved incident, audit and remediation practices.
Stakeholder leadership: Guided External Affairs (member engagement, courses, advocacy) to strengthen value propositions, partnerships and policy voice.
Culture & effectiveness: Fostered a high-performing, ethical board environment, supporting director induction, succession planning, skills matrix and periodic board evaluations.
Digital & data enablement: Sponsored uplift of core systems and analytics to inform decisions on programs, membership and commercial initiatives.
